Is it enough to get basic necessities for a Sri Lankan life?

With the coming of the presidential election, there has been a great discussion about the needs of the common people.   In an era when all candidates are making sure to meet our needs, those who support them often show that presidential candidates are ready to meet basic needs.

Maslow's Hierarchy Theory is a psychological theory and people's needs and needs are described in the form of a pyramid.  It is essential to complete the stages one by one in order to complete this pyramid which shows the needs under five stages.  Achieving this stage is as important as our commitment as well as external societal factors.  After achieving all these stages, it is possible to reach the level of quality of life.

But unfortunately, Sri Lankan people think that our life is complete through the needs of our basic needs such as water, food, electricity and gas. We must have enough factors to get self-esteem which is the last need of Maslow's hierarchy pyramid. It is going beyond the basic needs and it is our  Life is complete.

Think about what you want in your short life to live everyday through basic needs or to find satisfaction and saturate life?
