If sister learns, will she be lucky or juki?

In socialism, "garment girls" are often talked about. In a photo that has been circulating on social media for the past time, there was a phrase written on a tyro that said, "Nangi learns but is lucky or jockeys." Is this really an industry limited only to a group of people who do not learn like this?  Is it a job that should be ridiculed? Is it an essential service even in a crisis or does the Sri Lankan community not have a proper understanding of this job?

In The State of Fashion Report 2023, a report by global consulting firm McKinsey estimates that the fashion industry will grow in two ways.  Accordingly, the report indicates that the luxury fashion sector will grow between 5-10%, while other fashion sectors will see a decline of 2% compared to the previous year and the non-luxury fashion sector will grow by about 3%.

This situation is extremely important considering the critical role that the garment industry plays in sustaining the country's economy.  The apparel industry is Sri Lanka's largest foreign exchange earner, contributing more than 50% of merchandise exports and nearly half of our total export value.

Such insulting statements show that it is unfortunate for the country to have such a valuable job done by me. So I will write the following.

Sorry for the country if there is no juki!
